Structural & Mechanistics Protemics (STaMP)

Managed by: NDM - Centre for Medicines Discovery
Description:

The Structural & Mechanistic Proteomics (STaMP) Laboratory within the Centre for Medicines Discovery (CMD) is fully equipped with the very latest liquid handling and mass spectrometry equipment to facilitate cutting-edge structural proteomics experiments.

How can we help?

  • Binding Analysis: HDX-MS characterises protein-ligand interactions, including small molecules, peptides, cell membranes, nucleic acids, and other proteins
  • Protein Conformation: HDX-MS reveals conformational changes induced by ligand binding, post-translational modifications, and other factors
  • Protein Folding and Polymerisation: HDX-MS helps dissect protein folding/unfolding dynamics
  • Drug Discovery: HDX-MS is used in drug development to understand the mechanism of action of small-molecules
  • Epitope Mapping: HDX-MS aids in vaccine design and therapeutic antibody development by revealing antibody epitopes
  • Biopharmaceuticals: HDX-MS helps characterise protein stability and biologics
