The new Stellaris TauSTED Xtend is the latest in cutting edge super-resolution technology from Leica. The system is equipped for STED, fluorescence lifetime and confocal microscopy. TauSTED Xtend is the next step in the evolution of STED imaging. It combines lifetime-based information with an additional spatial readout. This results in a significant gain in resolution, especially at lower STED depletion powers (589 and 775 nm), allowing to extend multicolour live imaging capabilities at the nanoscale. |
